Kalman is an inspiration to us all at The Inspire Success Academy of Fitness and proof that absolutely anyone – regardless of their back ground, health or ability can become a Personal Trainer.
Kalman suffered serious health problems very early in his life. At only 4 years old he contracted Meningitis and was given a 0% chance of survival or at best, he would be left in a vegetative state. Thankfully Kalman fought for this life and beat the Meningitis however he was left with serious brain damage which then developed into Epilepsy.
The Epilepsy resulted in Kalman spending a year in a coma, which again he battled through and came out of the other side with a fresh new battle to fight as he was left blind, deaf and dumb and unable to walk.
Over time Kalman’s strength and fighting spirit kept him going and he constantly battled against the odds to regain his sight and hearing, having to relearn to walk and talk along the way. At the milestone age of 13 years old Kalman was still unsteady on his feet, but his determined mind was set to beat this challenge.
Now, at 32 years old, Kalman is well on the road to starting his own Personal Training business utilising his inspirational life experiences along with the skills he was learnt through his training with The Inspire Success Academy of Fitness, to help others with disabilities fight their battles and realise their dreams.
