Captain inspiration running tip of the week: BUY THE RIGHT GEAR.
Before you start anything, you must have the correct shoes to run in. Running in tennis shoes or cross trainers is not a good idea. Ask an expert for running shoes , don’t just buy any pair off the rack because they look good.
Also make sure that your runners assist with your posture. Some people pronate for example with their feet ( roll in ) . This can cause injury in the long run ( excuse the pun ) !! So make sure that the shoes you buy are perfect for you and your posture.
