This Advanced Sports Specific Nutrition course covers all the basics of nutrition science from how we process food to the food groups and why and how our body uses them. We then take a more specific look at different types of sports, energy requirements and optimum nutrition for performance and recovery. The course will enable you to look at weight loss supplementation in detail and sports supplementation and get a real insight into what is legal, what works and how we use it. Finally you will cover nutrition for young athletes and vegetarian athletes.
