Apart from the really obvious benefits of staying becoming fit, one of the less obvious side effects is the positive effects exercise has on depression. Research has shown that about 60%of people half their depression by exercising , and more than 40% stay that way for about 3 months.Exercise has been proven to have a similar effect to that of drug treatment, releasing serotonin ( the natural happy drug), in the brain.
